- Tournament details you enter (address, dates, sport, budget) to generate your plan
- Email address if you contact us or subscribe to updates
- Name and email address if you submit a contact form
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe (we never see or store your card details)
Information collected automatically:
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Referring URL
- Device type (desktop or mobile)
- General geographic location (country/state level only)
We use a local browser storage mechanism (localStorage) to remember whether you have used your free plan. This is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate your tournament weekend plan using AI
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Improve the accuracy and quality of our AI-generated plans
- Understand how the Service is used so we can make it better
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for targeted advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. INFORMATION SHARING
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
Anthropic (AI provider): The tournament details you enter are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your plan. Anthropic processes this data according to their own privacy policy. We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic — only the tournament details needed to generate your plan.
Stripe (payment processor): All payment information is processed by Stripe. We share only what Stripe needs to process your transaction. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of your payment data.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
4. PAYMENTS AND BILLING
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. PackTheWagon does not store, process, or have access to your credit card information.
For monthly Pro subscriptions, Stripe manages recurring billing. You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support@packthewagon.com or through your Stripe billing portal.
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@packthewagon.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe there has been an error.
5. COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use minimal tracking on our site. Specifically:
- localStorage: Used on your device only to track whether you've used your free plan. Not a cookie — not transmitted to any server.
- Basic analytics: We may use privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate site traffic. No personal data is shared with analytics providers.
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or third-party tracking scripts beyond what is necessary to operate the Service.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with our legal obligations.
- Tournament plan inputs are not permanently stored on our servers
- Contact form messages are retained until your inquiry is resolved
- Payment records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years)

You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
PackTheWagon is designed for use by adults — specifically parents and guardians of youth athletes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at support@packthewagon.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
